During the holidays, most of my time I felt was well spent, however majority of it was spent on watching dramas and playing defense of the ancients. I would love to recommend to all drama lovers to watch young warriors of the young clan. You could try watching 2004 version, that was the one I watched. It was a really tear jerking one. I seldom cry when It comes to talking about tear jerking shows but the loyalty and the brotherly love made me feel like crying.
I have decided to spend even more time from now on watching dramas and playing games, sure some might say I am foolish and wasting time but I feel that it is time well spent. I would even give myself a pat on the back. After all this is the holidays, I am suppose to relax right?
Well actually I would really love to have a few very close friends or perhaps brothers who could do lots of things together. I do have good friends however we have different likings and hobbies, they are not obliged to do the same things as I do. I really miss secondary school, those were the days where you could bond with your friends and get to know each other really better.
Anyway I was going to talk about young warriors of the yang clan. Well the story is set in ancient china during the Song dynasty. It revolves around the yang family, a family which was very loyal to the emperor. The main lead being Yang Si Lang (Alec Su), the fourth son of the general. Well Yang Si Lang has poor constitution due to the fact that he actually got stabbed when he was a child by the enemy. Being protective of him, his parents brought him up in such a way such that minimum harm would be dealt to him regardless of what activity he was participating. This shaped him to become who he was. He didn’t like being over protected. He wanted to do a lot of things.
I believe that most of us would have heard the saying that serving the emperor is akin to serving a tiger. The emperor was a really foolish one who listened to corrupted officials. The most ironic thing was Yang Si Lang fell in love with the daughter of his father’s arch enemy. Well I won’t go into details. This drama is really nice but sad. Well there are twists and turns here and there. But overall 2 thumbs up.
Well, talking about society shaping us to who we are, likewise I myself am shaped to become who I am. Well a lot of my friends would say I am a really boring person, one who rushes home right after school, this isn’t entirely true. Like I said my life revolves around gaming, watching anime and dramas and of course studies. Well, to me every single minute should be “well spent” well some people would say that it isn’t time well spent. However this is what I like to do and it would most likely stay that way regardless of whether you like it a not.
Well … I really love to have a group of close friends in which we can do a lot of common things like playing basketball, watching dramas and anime. However this is only my wishful thinking. I really want to have something like a band of brothers. Oh well, I was walking home one day after buying groceries and as the breeze blew past, I felt sad once again. Well I recalled a movie called Xiao Qing. It’s about a mortal falling in love with a ghost. The ending was tear jerking once again. Well at the end of the show, the main character get to keep the ghost his lover in an umbrella. I was just wondering having someone you love beside you is such a blessing even though the main character didn’t get to do stuff main couples did but still he was pretty lucky I reckon. Well it’s 1.32 am and I should go to bed now.
