After long days of school, debating and other activities, I have been totally worn out. All I feel like doing is hibernating like how a bear does. I find that the world of humans have become a terrible place to live in. This ties down to a word called politics.
Someone once told me before, every single act that we carry out, there is a political message behind it. I find what he said totally ridiculous. If every move I make has a political message behind it, how in the world am I suppose to decipher what you hide behind the message? Wouldn’t the place be a terrible place to live in?
Politics has not been introduced to me just recently, but it ties back to a long time ago. Even in my secondary school days, we can tell people gossiping and hating each other. I find this one of the lamest acts ever in man kind. Do people even Enjoy Gossiping? What’s the point seriously? Acts of childishness?
Many at times, People ask themselves. How do conflict arises? I believe we all know the basic definition of this. It would be 2 parties having 2 sets of different ideologies that contradict each other thus giving rise to tensions and conflicts. Once, I watched a Chinese serial called Liu Bei. I remembered a meaningful quote which is “Everyone has a yard stick of what is right and wrong, justice lies in one’s heart”. My point I am trying to emphasize here is that when you do something and others think you are wrong, as long as it does not go against your conscience (That is if you have one…) then just go ahead and believe in yourself.

Talks over the centuries have always commended how well a language worked, and indeed it is made by a genius or whatever, but do take note that 9/10 times people do not fully understand what they other party is trying to convey.
Now, many would ponder over why I said so. In my interest group, we talk about global issues, be it economics or politics, but I have been greatly upset by what is recently being carried out. Whenever we debate, the party opposing me has always mocked and laughed at me. I am aware that this is part of debating skills, however a good debater is also one that listens. What’s the point in laughing at others and when it’s your turn to speak, you distort the facts that I have mentioned. This does not show how proficient you are, rather it tells us that people nowadays are too carried away with what they would be saying rather then listening to others.
The following reason has made me greatly upset, furthermore I am starting to feel tired about arguing. Why do people try so hard to argue when the other party is never willing to take a step back. Even in Global issues, we see talks being carried out time and again for ages and ages. For God knows when these talks would end and actions really being carried out. My point I am trying to deliver is that I no longer see a point in arguing over a fact. Sure, some people might call me lazy, but you ain’t me and you don’t understand how I feel.
This is the point of time in which I need to watch some inspiring films or anime. This reminds me of an anime called Gundam Seed & also Gundam Seed Destiny. The show elaborates and conveys a strong message to the audience that war should be avoided, but at times one has to use his/her fist to convey a message.
‘Sad Irony. People should listen more rather then talk.’ Perry the True Gryphonheart
